Lifestyle Dental Studio is your local community general dental practice located in Wembley Downs. We provide a wide range of dental treatments from preventative hygiene appointments with our two fantastic hygienists, to general restorative dentistry utilising modern tooth coloured restorative materials, to complex smile make overs and full mouth reconstructions. Dr Porzig is one of very few dentists who are skilled in the surgical side of implant dentistry as well as wisdom tooth surgery, periodontal surgery and soft tissue/hard tissue grafting procedures. This allows LDS to offer a broad range of treatment options to our patients and to be able to provide this service under one roof.
Your independent dental practice
Lifestyle dental studio is an independent dental practice meaning that we are not owned or contracted to any specific health funds. We accept all health funds and have a HICAPS machine to make your claiming as quick and easy as possible. Being an independent dental practice means that we care only about our patients and are not controlled in our decision making by a health fund. We have our patients’ best interests upper most in mind, not the health fund’s.
Dr David Porzig took over the practice in 2004 and renamed it Lifestyle Dental Studio. There has been a dental practice on the premises since the mid 1960’s which was established by Dr Lawrie Bartlett. Lawrie is now retired but still comes to us as a patient!
The world of modern dentistry is an exciting and ever changing one. Dr Porzig has continually introduced modern technology and technique changes to Lifestyle dental Studio in order to both improve the patient experience as well as the treatment options available. These changes have included digital radiographs, intra oral cameras, fully digitised treatment records, digital treatment planning for implants and cosmetic/restorative dentistry and air abrasion. He works continually on refining our clinical techniques by following leaders in the various fields of dental education around the world. You can be confident that at lifestyle dental studio you will be getting a dental opinion which is current, conservative, and above all has your best interests uppermost in mind. We treat every one of our patients as if they were a member of our own family.
Our Patients Come From Far and Wide
We grow primarily through word of mouth from our happy patients. We obviously serve the local community of Wembley Downs, Scarborough, Trigg, Doubleview, City Beach, Woodlands, Churchlands and Wembley. However, our valuable patients also come from throughout country Western Australia and across from Townsville, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne. We also have a number of loyal and happy patients who live as far a field as London, Dubai, Abu dhabi and Singapore.
